Changing Lives

It started as a vision.... Never before have I been surrounded by such a large group of people filled with so much love and heartfelt generosity.

Last year, I had such a blast at the Changing Lives Music Festival. It was a family friendly night of entertainment that honored such great lives. I enjoyed the live music, food, and slideshow memories of Cort and Raegan. Cort and Raegan were such incredible people and touched many lives, so it’s fitting that the proceeds go to student scholarships.

The first annual Changing Lives Music Festival was an amazing event that I can't wait to attend again next year.  At its foundation is the support of Cort & Raegan's families to shift the tragic losses of these two incredible young adults into something that brings positivity to the lives of others.  Through the powerful Elks community, the idea transformed into something bigger.  A chance to come together, to eat great food, grab a beer, set up a lawn chair and listen to some live music...and dance under the stars!  So many people donating their time and resources to create this summer event to remember these important lives and make a difference.  Every year, many students will apply and be the recipient of scholarships as a result, giving them a better future.  Life changed with my nephew Cort's passing and I am so proud that he is continuing to make an impact.   Please join us, donate and change lives.

Changing Lives Summer Fest was a wonderful, fun and enjoyable event. What an incredible way to honor amazing high school graduates, as well as connect with great friends. All the while celebrating the beautiful lives of Cort Turner and Regan Heitzig.
